Amouage Material Decant — 3ml, 5ml, 10ml

This was my first Amouage and truly my first exposure to the wild and wonderful world of Middle Eastern perfumery. I do think the wearer must like patchouli to some degree to enjoy this but it's pleasantly well rounded with resins and woods in the typical Amouage approach to fragrance.

Fragrance Profile & Notes

Vibe: a luxurious, rich and complex amber-vanilla with resinous and balsamic depth. The use of Madagascar vanilla provides it with a more natural leathery, woody, spicy, and animalic feel rather than a sweet gourmand. Material also features a high 25% oil concentration making it very long-lasting when worn.

Top Notes: Elemi Oil and Patchouli Oil
Heart Notes: Madagascar Vanilla Absolute and Benzoin Resinoid
Base Notes: Guaiac Wood Oil, Oud Oil, Osmanthus Absolute, Frankincense Resinoid, Labdanum Absolute, and Tonka Bean Absolute
