About the Attic
I didn't set out to build a fragrance collection. It just happened. A few samples led to a few bottles, that led to more samples and more bottles, and eventually a shelf became a cabinet, then a cabinet became a mild obsession ... an addiction some might even say. Welcome to the Scent Attic.
Here you won't find the social media's most hyped fragrances (well, maybe a few). But I've found that the majority of them fall flat for me. What you will find are lots of ones that don't get talked about as much. A niche release from overseas that never made it to US shelves. A house everyone knows for one scent, but the selection in the back that nobody's trying. A vintage bottle that deserves to be revisited.
Everything on this site is part of my personal collection. The decants are from bottles I'm working through, only available until I finish (and may or may not replace). There are lots of samples, many of which have never been sprayed. Some mini offerings, discovery sets, vintage gems, and some downright odd concoctions because I like to try off the wall scents and unusual fragrance notes. Occasionally, I'll add a few partial bottles that I'm parting with, mostly because my olfactory tastes continue to evolve.
If you're the kind of person (like me) on a fragrance adventure who wants to smell something new like a note you haven't tried, a house you've never heard of, a version of a familiar scent you didn't know existed, you're in the right place. Come dig around. Some of what's here might be old friends, but I'm willing to bet you'll find something new and unfamiliar.

Shipping & Handling
All decants are hand-prepared by me. I have no helper elves so please be patient if you don't get a tracking number for a day or two. Right now, I only ship within the United States (my apologies to the rest of the world for this and many other things if you know what I mean).
On authenticity
Everything in this collection is purchased retail or through reputable industry wholesalers and never from resellers I can't vouch for. No exceptions.
If you ever have a question about authenticity, I'll accept a free return, no questions asked. And if a concern is ever raised about a specific fragrance, I'd rather pull it from the shop entirely than risk your trust or the trust of the fragrance community. Reputation is everything in this space, and I take it seriously.
